Stranger Surprises Davido In Mall, Gifts Him More Than One Million Ahead Of Birthday

Nigerian singer and music producer, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has received a whopping sum of 1.6 million naira from a fan he met at the mall.

Recall that the singer earlier made a post calling on his friends to send him one million each.

David’s friends initially played around but surprisingly began to send the one million to him while also wishing him well ahead of his birthday on November 21st.

As at the time of this report, the international singer has reportedly gotten 70 million naira from friends and fans.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian TV host Derele Edun has posted some lovely photos of his family members, praising his father for supporting his fashion sense from a young age

Denrele uploaded the pictures via his Instagram page to celebrate his father’s 80th birthday.

He went ahead to explain how his father supported him when he started modelling, revealing that he would tear his father’s church shirt, remove the sleeves and design it with safety pins but his father never got mad at him.

Denrele said that instead, his father would buy him more safety pins, chains, zip and also stand up for him when other family members  question his sense of dressing.

He wrote: “It’s my Dad’s 80TH BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!! Yes, NOVEMBER 17TH is a special day and I can’t stay still! ADEKUNLE ALABA EDUN;
A Fellow at the Hoare’s Memorial Methodist Church in Yaba, one of the longest serving Choir Wardens of all time (my Dad coerced us all to join the Choir and here’s the crazy part; NONE of us could sing to save our lives!) and dare I say, a MAN who tolerated my BS like no other!

“During my modelling phase, dating back as far as 1997/1998 when Teenage Rebellion set in, I’d rip my Dad’s church shirts, take out a sleeve, throw on all the safety pins in the world and step out in the streets for myriads of castings looking like “A child in urgent need of a bedspace at Yaba Left” (according to my cousins o! 🙄🙄).
Guess what? He NEVER complained!
Rather, he would buy me plenty Safety pins/Chains/Zips from the market and would always rise to my defense if family members raged about my dressing and even when the Church ex-communicated me!”
